Recruitment is open for different teaching categories:
- Primary Teacher (Class 1–5)
- Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed. OR
- Degree in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) OR
- 12th pass with 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed. OR
- Other equivalent qualifications as per norms
- Middle School Teacher (Class 6–8)
- Graduation with relevant subject + D.El.Ed. OR
- Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. OR
- Equivalent qualifications accepted by BPSC
- Secondary Teacher (Class 9–10)
- Graduate / Post Graduate in related subject with at least 45–50% marks + B.Ed.
- Must have cleared STET Paper I exam
- Senior Secondary Teacher (Class 11–12)
- Post Graduate in related subject with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed.
- Must have cleared STET Paper II exam
